01The front

What does the front of the Melonex label say?

The front of the Melonex label prints the name, ADVANCED SUPPORT, three starred support words, 60 CAPSULES and DIETARY SUPPLEMENT.

The bottle is white with a gold cap band and a dark red serif wordmark. "ADVANCED SUPPORT" sits below it in spaced gold capitals.

Three line icons carry the starred words: "Heart Support*", "Circulation Support*" and "Natural Formula*". The star points to the FDA statement on the facts panel. That statement says the claims have not been evaluated by FDA and the product is not meant to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

05Blend math

Can you tell how much of each Melonex ingredient is in a capsule?

Not exactly, but the order sets ceilings. The Melonex formula label lists its three lines from most to least by weight.

That order is a federal rule (21 CFR 101.36 (proprietary blends)). So line 1 holds at most 500 mg, line 2 at most 250 mg and line 3 at most 167 mg. If split evenly, each would come to about 167 mg.

The two arginine lines together can weigh at most 333 mg. At the 2-capsule maximum, double every figure. These weights include the malate, AKG and HCl parts, so the pure amino acid weighs less.

From the Supplement Facts panel. The three blend lines are listed from most to least by weight (21 CFR 101.36 (proprietary blends)), so each "≤" figure is a ceiling per capsule, not the real amount. The other ingredients are not part of the 500 mg.

Studies used grams a day (Avicenna J Phytomed 2019, L-citrulline and BP meta-analysis) (Am Heart J 2011, L-arginine and BP meta-analysis). No trial tested Melonex.
