Melonex Expiration Date: Where to Look on the Bottle

Quick answer

The Melonex expiration date is not in the label text we transcribed, which prints storage lines, a safety seal warning and a seller lot reference but no expiry or best-before line. Check the bottle, cap and box for a stamped date. If you find none, call the order desk with your order ID before you take a capsule.

01Where to look

Melonex expiration date: where is it printed?

Look for a stamped date on the bottle, cap or outer box, because the label text we transcribed has no expiry or best-before line.

Dates are often stamped or inkjetted after printing, which is why they can be missing from a flat label image. We cannot see the physical bottle, so we cannot point to the spot. Tip the bottle under good light, and check the curved base and the cap rim, where stamps often sit.

The seller's lot reference, M-26/ME-3161, is a production-run code. It is not a date (mymelonex.com (empty page)). Quote it when you call, with your order ID, so the desk can find your run.

02Date or code

What is the difference between a date and a lot?

A date says how long a maker stands behind freshness. A lot code says which run the bottle came from.

How long does one bottle take to finish?

A bottle lasts 60 days at one capsule a day and 30 days at two.

A short supply means a date matters less once you open the bottle, but it still matters for stock that sat on a shelf before it reached you. See what changes at two a day in Melonex 2 capsules a day.

04What a date means

Does a supplement date work like a drug date?

Not exactly: FDA has required dates on medicines since 1979, and its page covers drugs, not supplements (FDA, Don't use expired medicines).

For a medicine, after the date there is "no guarantee that the medicine will be safe and effective" (FDA, Don't use expired medicines). We could not confirm a matching federal rule for supplement dates.

So treat a supplement date as the maker's own statement of freshness. A past date is a reason to stop, not to test the capsules. Buy only what you will finish: six bottles is 360 days at one a day, long enough that dates deserve a second look.

Date

Past it? Do not take it.

Seal

Damaged or missing? Do not use it.

Storage

Hot, damp or sunny? Ask before you use it.

05No date

What if you find no date at all?

Photograph every side of the bottle, then call the order desk with your order ID.

  1. Photograph

Shoot the label, cap, base and any box.

  2. Call

The order desk is +1 (855) 889-3137. Ask where the date is stamped and what your lot's date is.

Keep taking prescribed medicine

If you are unsure about a bottle, pause the supplement only, and tell your doctor or pharmacist (CardioSmart (ACC), Blood pressure medicines).

Before you take it

Melonex is not a treatment; it is a dietary supplement. Ask your doctor or pharmacist first if you take blood-pressure medicine, nitrates for chest pain, an erectile-dysfunction drug such as sildenafil or tadalafil, a potassium-sparing diuretic (amiloride, spironolactone, triamterene), a blood thinner, or diabetes medicine, or if you have had a recent heart attack. Arginine and citrulline can add to these. Keep taking prescribed medicine. See side effects and interactions.

06FAQ

Melonex questions people ask

Does Melonex have an expiration date?

The label text we transcribed prints no expiry or best-before line, but a date may be stamped on the bottle, cap or box. We cannot see the physical bottle. If you find none, ask the order desk at +1 (855) 889-3137.

Is the Melonex lot number the same as the expiration date?

No. A lot code ties a bottle to a production run. The seller lists lot M-26/ME-3161 as a reference, and it is not a date. Only a stamped expiry or best-before date tells you how long the maker backs freshness.

Can I take Melonex after the expiration date?

We advise against it. For medicines, FDA says there is no guarantee of safety or effect after the date, and nothing we found says supplements differ. Do not take capsules past a printed date, and ask the seller for a replacement.

How long does a Melonex bottle stay fresh after opening?

No opened-bottle time is printed. The label says to keep it from heat, light and humidity in a cool, dry place. At one capsule a day a bottle empties in 60 days, so use it steadily and keep the cap tight.
